The Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah after releasing the two volumes of 2148 pages ‘Rajakumar Samagra Charitre’ at Kuvempu Kalakshetra remembered the association with Dr Rajakumar and said he is always ‘Rathna’ in the hearts of millions of people. I would make it possible for the availability of this book in Libraries in Karnataka stated Karnataka Chief Minister.


Looking at Rukkoji author of the book and his mother Padma Bai the chief minister said ‘Sarthaka son’. In the Kannada literary field no one has come out with such a huge volume. The individual effort, patience and affection towards Dr Rajakumar is essential for such a book. It is not Samanya Sadhane. On Dr Rajakumar contribution there cannot be page limit. He has such voluminous content.

The chief minister inquired with Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli how many days he took to read this book. I do not have time to read he said. At this time Dr Ambarish on the dais said look at pictures. That is what you do and telling me replied chief minister.

At the book release of ‘Samagra Charitre of Rajakumar’ the art work of Dr Rajakumar house in Gajanur was brought in front of dais by daughter Lakshmi and Poornima. The chief minister was handed over the book picking from it.

Veterans Sowcar Janaki, Krishnakumari, Protima Devi, Dr Jayanthi, Dr Jayamala, Dr Shivarajakumar, Dr Ambarish, Power star Puneeth Rajakumar, Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa, Ramkumar son in law of Dr Raj were on the dais at the book release time.


Dr Jayamala welcomed gathering, Rukkoji in his address tallied the place of Puneeth Rajakumar estate in Bidadi to the previous generations stay of Dr Rajakumar family and to the surprise of everyone he said Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar also belongs to Mandya district. Dr Ambarish noticing this was in big surprise.


The two volumes of book packed in wooden box was handed over to literary personality Maralusiddappa, Dr Siddalingaiah, KMF former chief Premnath, C Manjunath, Navayuga Mohan and others.


The inauguration of the event of book release of ‘Rajakumar Samagra Charitre’ was pouring water to Sampige sapling. This sapling will be placed at Dr Rajakumar Memorial.
